FattaLab® - Liver Health Dashboard in the GLP-1 Era

The World’s First Palm-Sized Fatty Liver Intelligent Assessment System. One scan. 30 seconds. Diagnostic-grade liver fat quantification at your fingertips — no ultrasound expertise required.

Product Overview

Fatty Liver Assessment. Wherever Metabolic Care Happens.

FattaLab® is a lightweight, wireless liver fat assessment system pairing a 120g handheld probe with a companion mobile app. It combines AIFF liver fat algorithm, MAP attenuation analysis, and AI-guided 3D acquisition into a single one-button workflow.

Built for the weight-loss clinic that needs repeatable monitoring. The pharmacy adding metabolic screening. The insurer tracking GLP-1 outcomes. The primary care practice that never had access to quantitative liver fat data — until now.

The Moment

Why Quantitative Liver Fat Measurement Matters

The market is pivoting from “treat late” to “screen early.”  FattaLab® is the point-of-care liver fat assessment for that transition.

01

The MASH Breakthrough

FDA approved the first targeted NASH drug in 2024, breaking a 40-year treatment gap. GLP-1 therapies for MASH are accelerating diagnosis demand worldwide.

02

The Diabetes-Liver Nexus

Over 55% of type 2 diabetes patients have comorbid fatty liver disease. The global glucose monitoring market — projected to reach $277B by 2032 — is FattaLab’s natural addressable audience.

03

The Screening Gap

~80% of early-stage liver disease is asymptomatic. Current methods are either too expensive (MRI-PDFF: $1,000+) or not portable enough. FattaLab® makes routine liver screening as accessible as a blood pressure check.

THE GAP TODAY

Liver Fat Measurement and Monitoring Has Been Stuck in the Radiology Department

Conventional Workflow

Constrained by qualitative assessment and limited monitoring access

Operator-dependent qualitative ultrasound — “mild/moderate/severe” at best

MRI-PDFF at $1,000+ per scan — impractical for serial monitoring

Biopsy as gold standard — invasive, unsuitable for repeat use

No longitudinal liver fat data — you can’t track what you can’t measure

Circular workflow graphic showing liver assessment challenge and diagnostic pathway

FattaLab® Approach

AI-guided, wireless, and designed for routine liver fat monitoring

AI-guided liver-region recognition — consistent targeting, operator to operator

MAP quantitative dB/m output — same physical principle, handheld form

~30-second scan with automated Smart App analysis — fits any workflow

120g wireless device — deploy anywhere: clinic, pharmacy, screening van, wellness center

Clinical value

Turns liver fat assessment into quantitative dB/m data for metabolic risk discussions.

Workflow value

One-button measurement and automated analysis make repeat monitoring easier to run.

Access value

Brings liver fat testing into clinics, pharmacies, wellness programs, and screening sites.

Coverage value

Connects GLP-1, weight management, insurance, MMC, and nutrition monitoring workflows.

WHY FATTALAB® WINS

Competitive Landscape

Diagnostic-grade accuracy in a pocket-sized device - outperforming MRI-PDFF on cost and portability, body composition scales on clinicalvalidity, and consumer devices on every metric.

OUR VISION

Health Monitoring 3.0

Just as the electronic blood pressure monitor (1973) made hypertension ahousehold concept and the digital thermometer (1984) normalized homefever tracking - FattaLab® aims to make liver fat measurement a routinevital sign.

Technology Architecture

One Platform for Guided Liver Assessment

AIFF Algorithm

Auto Intra-Focus Fusion: AI-powered liver fat detection with liver-region recognition, ROI auto-focus, and subcutaneous-thickness adaptation — consistent measurements across body types.

AI-guided 3D Acquisition

Automatic continuous 3D acquisition captures a volumetric sample rather than a single ultrasound line — 32× the sampling volume of conventional single-beam approaches.

Device + Smart App + AI attenuation analysis

MAP Quantification

Multi-domain attenuation analysis (time-domain + frequency-domain) outputs quantitative dB/m liver fat values. Same physical principle as clinical-grade attenuation — in a 120g probe.

ROI Adaptation

Region of interest automatically adjusts based on subcutaneous thickness, with dedicated control for abdominal obesity populations — a common challenge in MASLD screening.

Clinical Workflow

Liver Fat Measurement Technical Guide

AI-assisted guidance, one-button measurement, and Smart App reporting help FattaLab® fit consultation rooms, screening sites, and metabolic monitoring programs.

01

Target

AI-assisted positioning with liver-region recognition. App provides real-time visual guidance — no manual landmarking needed.

02

Measure

120g wireless probe captures 3D attenuation data. One button. Straightforward cases produce results in as little as 30 seconds.

03

Analyze

AIFF processing: subcutaneous-thickness ROI focus, time/frequency-domain analysis, liver parenchyma recognition. Consistent, automated, operator-independent.

04

Report

Quantitative dB/m values + trend charts. Built for GLP-1 monitoring, lifestyle intervention tracking, and metabolic health discussions.

FAQ

Why does FattaLab® focus on liver fat?

Liver fat is a core metabolic risk signal in MASLD/MASH and increasingly central to GLP-1 therapy monitoring, lifestyle intervention, and cardiometabolic risk management. It’s the organ-level biomarker most screening programs miss.

What does MAP measure?

MAP (Multi-domain Attenuation Parameter) measures ultrasound attenuation in liver tissue — the same physical principle used in clinical hepatology — and outputs a quantitative liver fat-related value in dB/m. Higher values indicate greater fat accumulation.

Who can operate FattaLab®?

FattaLab® is designed for professional and proximity-care workflows. A trained nurse, pharmacist, or health coach can perform scans after brief device training. No sonographer certification required.

Where can FattaLab® be deployed?

Weight-loss clinics, pharmacies, MMC metabolic centers, corporate wellness programs, insurance health checks, community screening sites, and clinical research programs. Anywhere a 120g wireless probe and a mobile terminal can go.
