Applicable Liver Conditions

Assessment Support Across Liver Disease Pathways

NAFLD / MASLD

Deliver real-time B-mode ultrasound guidance, liver stiffness measurement (LSM), and AI-powered fat quantification (MAP) in a single wireless handheld probe — enabling rapid steatosis grading and fibrosis staging for NAFLD/MASLD patients across endocrinology, primary care, and health screening workflows.

Fibrosis Assessment

With just 4 AI-guided measurements — half the requirement of conventional systems — Liverscan® provides diagnostic-grade liver stiffness evaluation for fibrosis staging, streamlining specialist and hospital-based hepatology workflows with doubled throughput and a dramatically shorter learning curve.

Chronic Viral Liver Disease

Offer a portable, non-invasive liver assessment for chronic hepatitis B and C patients — enabling serial liver stiffness assessment for fibrosis progression tracking in both tertiary hospital and community-based care settings.

Alcohol-related Liver Risk

Provide rapid, point-of-care liver stiffness and fat quantification in under one minute — an accessible, non-invasive screening tool for alcohol-related liver disease across broader liver health programs, from primary care to corporate wellness and insurance risk stratification.

Clinical Workflow

Liver Elastography Procedure

01

Target

Transient elastography imaging with real-time B-mode ultrasound guidance provides live anatomical visualization — enabling operators to visually confirm the optimal intercostal window before every acquisition, eliminating the blind sampling inherent to conventional TE.

02

Measure

The wireless handheld probe performs transient elastography and ultrasound attenuation measurement in a single acquisition — capturing liver stiffness (LSM) and fat quantification (MAP) simultaneously, in under one minute.

03

Analyze

Four purpose-built AI models run in real time: Elastogram Quality Assessment, Shear Wave Trajectory Detection, Auto Measurement Mode Selection, Liver Boundary Segmentation — ensuring diagnostic-grade consistency across operators and clinical settings.
04

Report

LSM and MAP results are generated on-device in real time — delivering fibrosis stage and steatosis grade in a structured, actionable report with no post-processing, no cloud dependency, and no waiting.

Category
Specification
Clinical Value

Liver Stiffness Measurement (LSM)

Transient elastography, 3.5 MHz probe, 1.5–75 kPa range
Fibrosis staging with 4 measurements, not 10. AUROC 0.97 for cirrhosis detection, r=0.86 vs. FibroScan® — diagnostic-grade confidence in under 1 minute.

MAP Fat Quantification

AI-driven ultrasound attenuation, 100–400 dB/m, trained on 10,000+ clinical cases

FAQ

Why is the probe designed to be a long bar?

Different from conventional probe type in round performing stiffness detection function only, without B ultrasound image real-time guidance function. We are composite probe with B ultrasound image real-time guidance function. Liverscan is not only composite probe but also multi-element probe, meaning multi-channel sampling, significantly improving clinical efficiency; it also reduces sampling errors at a single location.

What does the color box on the B-ultrasound image represent?

The ROI box with different colors automatically prompts the sampling area of liver stiffness and acoustic attenuation parameters, and intuitively locates the sampling area.

What is the function of the largest button on the probe?

Adjust the probe holding area [navigation button] to avoid obvious large blood vessels, cysts and other non-liver substance: Up/down button to adjust hardness measurement depth. Left/right button adjusts the radial position of hardness measurement.

Why does the pop-up measurement fail?

If the test fails, the measurement interface will pop up a window to prompt (the algorithm will automatically prompt and eliminate invalid measurement results). You can repeat the test after waiting for the window to close automatically.
