On May 25, 2026, Eieling Technology held ministerial-level dialogues with four core ministries of Vietnam — the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Health — reaching significant consensus on early liver disease screening and primary-level prevention and control, a major issue concerning the health of the Vietnamese people.

During in-depth exchanges with Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, Vice Minister Nguyen, drawing on his own clinical experience in internal medicine, gave full recognition to the value and application prospects of Eieling Technology’s two core products, Liverscan® and FattaLab®.

Vice Minister Nguyen noted that in Vietnam, viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease affect a vast patient population. Traditional diagnostic devices are expensive, complex to operate, and bulky, while primary-level healthcare institutions lack adequate non-invasive liver fibrosis testing capabilities. Liverscan® and FattaLab® offer a complete “primary-level liver disease screening solution” that precisely addresses these challenges.
China Technology, Shared Globally
Liverscan® integrates the world’s exclusive patented real-time 2D ultrasound-guided transient elastography technology, equipped with a TE multi-channel probe and four built-in AI deep learning models. It compresses the traditional number of measurements to just 4 effective tests, adapting to patients with abdominal obesity and high BMI, doubling efficiency compared to previous methods. Liverscan® has received NMPA Class III certification and FDA 510(k) clearance, and has been approved in multiple countries including Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
FattaLab® represents Eieling Technology’s next-generation upgrade in fat quantification. Leveraging the new-generation MAPTM ultrasound attenuation parametric technology, it enables precise non-invasive assessment of liver fat. FattaLab® requires just 30 seconds per screening, delivering stable reproducibility and user-friendly operation. It provides a truly deployable quantitative tool for early detection, dynamic follow-up, and large-scale population screening of fatty liver disease. FattaLab® has received FDA 510(k) clearance and represents a new paradigm in quantitative liver health management.
The 10,000-Unit Five-Year Plan: From Screening Void to Nationwide Coverage
The World Health Organization (WHO) has set the global target of “eliminating viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.” Vietnam is responding to this call with concrete action. Under the guidance of Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, Eieling Technology, together with its local strategic partner Sunwah Group, aims to progressively build a nationwide primary-level liver screening network over the next five years, targeting a scale of 10,000 units, helping Vietnam become the world’s first large-scale national liver screening model country.

-
Primary-Level Deployment: Portable devices, simple operation, and cost-effective design, suitable for community health centers, township health clinics, and physical examination centers — solving the dilemma of “long queues at large hospitals, no equipment at small facilities,” bringing testing directly to the people
-
Efficiency Revolution: One training session enables anyone to operate the device; real-time ultrasound image guidance significantly lowers the operational barrier, reducing the learning curve to just 30 minutes, while greatly improving detection success rates for patients with abdominal obesity
-
Data-Driven Public Health Decision Support: Nationwide screening data aggregation enables precise identification of high-prevalence regions and dynamic assessment of prevention and control effectiveness
During the meeting, Vice Minister Nguyen stated that the Ministry of Health will fully support the primary-level liver screening initiative led by Eieling Technology and Sunwah Group, striving to essentially eliminate the major threat of hepatitis to the health of the Vietnamese people by 2030.

From Hong Kong to the World
From the “10,000 Units in Five Years” plan to the steadfast goal of “Eliminating Hepatitis by 2030,” this initiative represents not only a comprehensive test of Eieling Technology’s innovation capabilities and production capacity, but also a tangible commitment to safeguarding public liver health. In Vietnam, this liver screening model is translating technological advancements into real protection for every patient. We look forward to this model taking root and flourishing in more countries and regions around the world, truly alleviating the burden of liver disease on patients everywhere.
