FattaLab® Launches in Vietnam: Eieling Technology Signs Cooperation Agreement with VCP, a Subsidiary of Sinopharm International

On July 28, 2026, coinciding with the 16th “World Hepatitis Day,” the Eieling Technology team traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam, to officially sign a cooperation agreement with VCP Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (“VCP”), a subsidiary of Sinopharm International. The partnership focuses on deep collaboration in early liver disease screening, prevention, and intervention, establishing an innovative business model to jointly build a leading ecosystem for comprehensive liver health management in Southeast Asia.

A Powerful Alliance: Synergy Between R&D Excellence and Local Strengths

During the meeting, Prof. Zheng Yongping, Founder and Chief Scientist of Eieling Technology, provided a detailed overview of the company’s cutting-edge technological capabilities and research directions in ultrasound imaging and elastography. As a commercial spinoff from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s research achievements, Eieling Technology is redefining the paradigm of liver health screening with its portable liver diagnostic solutions, positioning pharmacies as the first line of defense in liver disease prevention.

Against the backdrop of GLP-1 receptor agonists reshaping the landscape of metabolic disease management, FattaLab®’s capabilities in liver fat quantification are providing critical support for pharmaceutical companies in efficacy assessment and patient health monitoring. Jia Xiaojia, Co-founder and CEO of Eieling Technology, stated that FattaLab® has evolved into an effective liver health management tool – enabling early detection of potential risks in users, enhancing product added value, and building a complete closed-loop system for patients from screening to intervention.

The General Manager of VCP introduced the company’s deep-rooted market presence in Vietnam. VCP boasts a professional sales team covering all regions of Vietnam and an extensive pharmacy network, with a leading market share in liver disease-related products. He noted that this cooperation represents a significant opportunity for mutual resource sharing and complementary strengths, expressing his expectation that this signing will serve as a starting point for deepening collaboration in liver health management, jointly exploring the Vietnamese and broader Southeast Asian health market to achieve win-win outcomes.

Innovation-Driven: A Hong Kong Tech Paradigm Under the Belt and Road Initiative

Witnessed by leaders from both sides, Eieling Technology and VCP formally signed the cooperation agreement. This collaboration is not only a significant milestone in Eieling Technology’s global expansion but also a successful case study of Hong Kong’s technology enterprises actively responding to the Belt and Road Initiative. Eieling Technology will deeply integrate with VCP’s business characteristics and market expansion needs, embedding intelligent precision liver screening throughout the entire liver health management process – from risk identification to intervention tracking – bridging the gap between detection and health management, enabling precise quantification and full-process visibility, and laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of both parties in the Vietnamese market.

Looking ahead, Eieling Technology will continue to drive product iteration and upgrades with its deep technological expertise, delivering more practical solutions while partnering with more pharmaceutical and health management companies to continuously advance liver disease prevention and control into a new era.
