Information we process about patients of Service users: We process certain personal information about patients of Service users on behalf of our Service users (where we act as a data processor). This personal information includes:
Identity and contact data (name, title, date of birth, gender, medical record number (MRN)).
Patient Health Information (“PHI”), such as MRN data, study descriptions and related metadata (e.g., data on Service Users’ comments on ultrasound studies), and other categories of PHI uploaded by Service Users (or on behalf of Service Users) in connection with the Services.
As mentioned above, in most cases, we process PHI only on behalf of our service users (data controllers of personal information) and in accordance with their instructions. [CS1]
Where permitted by laws and regulations, we may collect and use your personal information in the following circumstances without obtaining your authorization or consent:

To ensure the normal operation of the Liverscan series of solutions, we will store small text files called cookies or similar files on your device to store data called by the web server in the domain where the cookies are placed. 1. Storage location and cross-border transmission
All your personal information will be stored within the territory of the People’s Republic of China. Under this Privacy Policy, your personal information does not involve cross-border transmission. If cross-border transmission is involved in the future and your personal information needs to be transferred to overseas institutions, we will comply with the provisions of laws, administrative regulations and relevant regulatory authorities, and ask for your consent and permission again or anonymize the data before cross-border transmission.
