FAQ's
What is liver disease?
Lesions that occur in the liver. Including hepatitis B, hepatitis A, hepatitis C, cirrhosis, fatty liver, liver cancer, alcoholic liver disease and many other liver diseases.
What is transient elasticity?
Liver ultrasound imaging and transient elastography generally refer to liver transient elastography technology, which is an examination that uses ultrasound technology to measure the elasticity and hardness of liver tissue, mainly including fat attenuation value and liver hardness value.
Why choose LIVERSCAN?
LIVERSCAN® is a specially designed examination instrument for liver diseases. It can give a quantitative result in a non-invasive and rapid way, giving liver cirrhosis indicators and the degree of fatty liver. It can achieve early detection and early treatment, and effectively prevent the irreversible deterioration of liver disease. Moreover, it is the first wireless, handheld, and beneficial to the people, which can break the limitations of traditional examination systems, achieve universal screening, and benefit more patients.
Why use transient elasticity?
As a country with a high incidence of liver disease, China is in urgent need of reducing the prevalence of liver disease and expanding the scope of screening. As a company that focuses on developing and providing medical ultrasound solutions in the field of chronic liver disease, Eieling Technology Limited is committed to protecting liver health. The LIVERSCAN series of solutions developed by Eieling Technology Limited can meet multiple application scenarios and people with different needs, and thoroughly implement the slogan of “early screening, early diagnosis, and early treatment”.
What is the difference from ordinary ultrasound?
It is different from ordinary ultrasound. For example, the B-ultrasound we are familiar with is a 2D picture of the fetus during pregnancy examination, which cannot quantify liver disease. In addition, ordinary ultrasound cannot detect problems in the early stage of liver disease. By the time ordinary ultrasound screening detects problems, it is often already quite serious. Liverscan is an elastic ultrasound imaging specially designed for liver disease, providing quantitative indicators, truly achieving early screening, accurate, and non-invasive examination.
Is there any certification?
Already got FDA certification, NMPA is expected to be obtained in the second quarter of this year, and CE certification is expected to be obtained next year.
Are the test results accurate?
In terms of technical principles, ours is the same as the most commonly used Fibroscan and elastic imaging machines in clinical practice, so theoretically the results are the same as those of the machines commonly used in clinical practice. However, we have made it wireless and handheld, and reduced the cost. Moreover, we are now actively conducting clinical verification of its accuracy. We have tested more than 1,000 patients so far, and the results are very good.
