According to the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Hepatitis Report 2024, deaths from viral hepatitis are increasing. The disease is the second leading cause of death from infectious diseases worldwide – killing 1.3 million people each year, the same as tuberculosis, the number one infectious killer. Countries are facing the same urgent and severe challenge: “How to more effectively respond to the growing health threat posed by viral hepatitis?”. Against this backdrop, Eieling Technology has joined hands with some medical institutions and organizations to respond to the national call actively, take the initiative to assume social responsibility, and jointly organize a series of free liver health clinics aimed at raising public health awareness. It is not only a response to “Eliminate Hepatitis, Take Positive Action”, but also one of the substantive actions taken by Eieling Technology to create a “hepatitis-free future”. Through the Liverscan® free clinic screening, we are committed to letting more people understand the importance of early screening for liver disease, to prevent, detect, and treat it early, cut off the route of hepatitis transmission, and reduce the death and disease burden caused by hepatitis.

Epilepsy and liver disease have a mutually influential relationship, and most anti-epileptic drugs undergo biotransformation in the liver, so the liver is more vulnerable to damage. To ensure that epilepsy patients can use drugs safely and effectively control their condition, regular liver function tests are particularly important. This time, Eieling Technology, together with Zhejiang Huasu and Zhejiang University Run Run Shaw Hospital, went deep into the grassroots and provided epilepsy patients with a faster and non-invasive liver function test service through Liverscan. It has improved the community residents’ awareness of epilepsy and related liver health issues and also provided residents with on-site consultation and health management suggestions.
