On November 5, 2023, in the lively atmosphere of the opening day of the 6th China International Import Expo, the Hong Kong SAR Government delegation led by Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee visited the E-Learning Technology booth and had an in-depth interactive exchange with Eieling Technology CEO Jia Xiaojia. Hong Kong SAR Government Financial Secretary Paul Chan also came to the booth to cheer for Hong Kong’s innovative technology companies, and expressed high appreciation for Eieling Technology’s products and services, while also giving concern and guidance on the company’s investment and financing needs.

In his communication with Jia Xiaojia, CEO of Eieling, John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, expressed great interest in Eieling ‘s research and development achievements in the field of ultrasonic elastic imaging diagnosis of chronic liver disease. He believes that Hong Kong has unique advantages under the “one country, two systems” and should better play its advantages in professional services and talents, strengthen cooperation with mainland and international companies, and jointly promote the development of smart medical care, hard-core technology, high-end manufacturing, and other fields.

When the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Paul Chan, was cheering for Hong Kong’s innovative and technological enterprises at the Hong Kong booth, he exclusively responded to questions from the CCTV Greater Bay Area Voice reporter. “I was shocked to see so many exhibitors at the CIIE this time!” Paul Chan said that he felt a very positive atmosphere when communicating with different exhibitors, “Everyone was very enthusiastic, very excited, and full of expectations.” After learning about the products of Hong Kong exhibitors, he said that Hong Kong businessmen can bring more high-quality and diversified products and services to the mainland people in terms of innovative technology, creative design, professional services and even food technology while opening up greater business opportunities for themselves.

As the world’s first national-level exhibition with the theme of imports, the sixth CIIE has attracted the attention of many domestic and foreign companies and government agencies. On such an important occasion, Lee Ka-chiu said that this year more than 300 Hong Kong companies participated in the CIIE, a record high, and on the first day of the opening, some Hong Kong exhibitors successfully signed orders or reached cooperation. He emphasized: “This is a good start, and we should have good results if we continue.”
