Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 16-day second International Healthcare Week concluded on May 18 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It covered two modes: online business-to-business and offline physical exhibitions. It made full use of Hong Kong’s strategic role as an innovation and investment center for Asia’s medical industry to create an excellent international medical platform. It brought together more than 300 exhibitors from mainland China, the United States, Canada, Japan, and Taiwan to participate in the physical exhibition, and attracted six groups of people from the political, industrial, academic, research, medical,l and investment sectors at home and abroad.

As the only representative company of the medical device sector of Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP), Eieling Technology was invited to participate in the theme forum “The Rise of Innovative Medical Technology in Hong Kong” held during the 14th ” Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair “. During the forum, CEO Mr. Jia Xiaojia shared his insights on the clinical and market application pain points in the field of chronic liver disease screening, Liverscan®️ product innovation strategy, domestic and overseas market patent layout, clinical research progress and solutions for typical market segmentation scenarios, which received enthusiastic responses from professional audiences on site. Hong Kong Science Park was established in 2002 and covers an area of 22 hectares. The park is home to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s flagship innovation and technology project “InnoHK Innovation Hong Kong Research and Development Platform”, which has successfully attracted 28 research and development laboratories in collaboration between world-class universities and research institutions and local universities in Hong Kong. In recent years, the Hong Kong government has been very active in promoting industry-university-research cooperation, allowing enterprises, universities, and research institutions to cooperate with each other to create a connection and integration between upstream and downstream technological innovation. The InnoHealth Showcase and exhibition area of the Asian Healthcare Summit will showcase projects and solutions from more than 140 innovative technology companies related to the healthcare industry in a hybrid online and offline mode. Among them, 50 innovative technology companies and projects are organized by five local universities including the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Attracting attention from both the mainland and Hong Kong governments
Wang Gan, deputy mayor of Chengdu and secretary of the Wenjiang District Party Committee, and Li Zhenhua, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chengdu Medical City, led a team to visit the Eieling Technology booth.
During the exhibition, leaders from the Hong Kong Hospital Authority and the Department of Health led a team to the booth to provide policy guidance and valuable suggestions on the promotion of Liverscan®️ in the Hong Kong market. In addition, Wang Qian, deputy mayor of Chengdu and secretary of the Wenjiang District Party Committee, and Li Zhenhua, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chengdu Medical City, led a team to visit the booth and gave positive comments on Liverscan®️. Mayor Wang discussed the application scenarios of the product, price, and performance, and focused on “How to carry out screening for people in remote areas?”, “Can grassroots hospitals afford it?”, “Can the people afford it?” These three questions are closely related to Yiling Technology Have a friendly chat in front of the booth. Finally, Mayor Wang provided us with valuable information. Chengdu is currently building a highland for the medical and health industry, with a total planned area of 33.4 square kilometers. The three-day exhibition attracted more than 10,000 buyers from 56 countries and regions to visit and purchase. The full range of Liverscan®️ products, Care, Mobile, and Universal, attracted buyers, media, and investment institutions from all over the world to stop and communicate, including many local medical institutions in Hong Kong. “How to effectively promote the advancement of liver disease management, implement the national hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system, and reduce the burden on individuals and society” is a question that Eieling Technology has been thinking about since its inception.
